Timelapse and label regulars Jos & Eli join forces on Watergate Records for the
'Running' EP, a two-track release that brings a grounded and refined touch to
melodic techno.
The title track, 'Running', sets the tone with a steady groove, warm atmospheres and
Timelapse's own vocal at the centre. Restrained but open, it carries a positive, festivalleaning
energy without pushing too hard.
'Still There' follows with a more introspective feel, pairing subtle melodic tension with
another original vocal, this time from an unnamed friend of the artists. Together, the two
tracks show a restrained but emotional side of melodic techno, shaped by groove,
atmosphere and a strong sense of songcraft.
